How Thayat Came to Be
Thayat was established in Bangkok by a small group of legal professionals who shared a common frustration: inheritance matters in Thailand were often handled in ways that added stress rather than easing it. Families already navigating grief or family tension would find themselves in offices that moved too quickly, explained too little, and charged without transparency.
The practice was set up with a different intention — to create a space where the pace is determined by the family, not the legal process. Every consultation starts with listening. Every document is explained before it is signed. Every case is treated as a matter involving real people, not just assets.
Today, Thayat handles will drafting and review, heir identification and mediation, and full estate administration for families across Thailand. Our team includes practitioners with backgrounds in Thai succession law, civil procedure, and family mediation.
